PALMIYE LIGHTING · GHANA
Outdoor Lighting Poles for Projects in Ghana
Prepare a clear lighting package for an urban road, commercial frontage or landscaped development in Ghana. Compare pole forms, define the electrical scope and coordinate the delivery destination with our manufacturing team in Türkiye.

01 / PRODUCT SHORTLIST
Choose the Form After Defining the Application
A road serving a commercial development and a pedestrian entrance may need different pole heights, optics and controls. Start your Ghana lighting-pole enquiry with a site layout and distinguish functional road illumination from architectural body lighting. The collections below help the project team compare forms before selecting the exact configuration.
DARG V1
LED-Body Aluminium Poles
Compare architectural pole forms for entrances and public spaces where integrated body lighting is part of the visual concept.
ROAD V2
Galvanised Steel Road Poles
Start a road-column enquiry with the specified height, outreach and luminaire loading rather than selecting by silhouette alone.
BARDI
Park and Garden Poles
Review pedestrian-scale options alongside planting, paths and the wider material palette of a landscaped development.
Use urban lighting poles for a wider streetscape shortlist and bollard options where the designer proposes lower-level path lighting. Selecting a family does not establish the performance of a complete layout.
02 / THE SITE AND THE DESTINATION
Keep the Installation Brief Separate from the Freight Address
A delivery address in Accra or Tema is not a complete environmental specification. Describe the actual installation location, including proximity to the sea, dust exposure, standing-water risks around the base and access for maintenance. For an inland scheme, use the same site-led approach rather than carrying a coastal specification across every location.
Send the engineer’s wind-loading criteria, luminaire mass and projected area, bracket dimensions and any attached accessories. Ask for confirmation of the proposed pole material and protection system for those conditions. Foundations, anchor arrangements and cable entries need coordination with the project engineer and installer.
| Decision | Buyer input | Confirmation before approval |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical package | Pole-only, pole-and-luminaire or a wider installation package. | Included components, control interface and installer responsibilities. |
| Site exposure | Precise location, environmental brief, operating temperatures and cleaning access. | Material, finish and component suitability for the stated conditions. |
| Freight destination | Named port or delivery address and inland destination. | Packing, transport scope, clearance responsibilities and unloading. |
| Acceptance documents | Tender references and required product test information. | Exact model documents, review owner and approval deadline. |
03 / ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL SCOPE
State What Powers the Lighting and Who Integrates It
Identify the intended supply arrangement and the equipment included in the request. Provide the specified supply voltage and frequency, earthing arrangement, switching method and protection requirements from the electrical designer. Where the project requires dimming, a management platform or detection, give the interface specification and identify the party responsible for commissioning.
Do not assume that an illuminated pole body and the road luminaire share the same operating schedule. List their loads and control requirements separately so appearance, energy use and maintenance can be reviewed clearly. If the brief proposes off-grid operation, supply the complete system-design requirements for separate feasibility review; a standard pole selection alone does not establish energy autonomy.
Build an Equipment Responsibility Schedule
Mark each component as supplied by Palmiye, supplied by the buyer or to be confirmed. Include the pole, brackets, anchor assembly, luminaire, drivers, protective devices and controls. Ask which parts are included in the quotation rather than assuming a complete installed system.
04 / TECHNICAL REVIEW
Prepare the Product File for the Ghana Project Team
Ghana’s Energy Commission lists the Public Lighting Regulations, 2022 (L.I. 2453), among its energy-efficiency regulations. The project’s local technical and import teams should identify the applicable product requirements and evidence before equipment is approved. CE marking or a generic catalogue statement should not be treated as a substitute for that review.
Send the tender reference and requested documents with your enquiry: dimensional drawings, specified column criteria, luminaire photometry, test information and control details. Ask for documents against the selected model and version. Record the reviewer and submission deadline, then resolve any missing evidence before placing the order.
05 / ACTUAL PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
Compare Proportions Using Real Installation Photographs
These installations are in Türkiye. They illustrate Palmiye products in completed public spaces and do not claim a Ghanaian project reference. Review the height and visual character alongside your own site drawings and the lighting designer’s calculations.

06 / FREIGHT AND HANDOVER
Quote the Named Delivery Point and Inland Scope
Palmiye Lighting manufactures in İstanbul. For a Ghana supply enquiry, state whether the requested quotation ends at a named port or includes an agreed delivery point inland. Provide the final destination even when the initial pricing is for port delivery, so the buyer’s logistics team can review handling and onward transport.
Request packing dimensions, weights, the production programme and the commercial documents required by your appointed logistics provider. Allocate export handling, freight, destination clearance, inland haulage and unloading to named parties. Duties, charges and import procedures should be checked for the actual shipment by the responsible local team; no standard transit time or local stock is implied.
- Approve the model schedule and technical scope.
- Confirm document requirements and the approval sequence.
- Agree the named delivery point and transport responsibilities.
- Group packing labels by installation phase or site zone.
- Record the receiving, unloading and installation contacts.
07 / BUYER QUESTIONS
Resolve the Details Behind the Quantity
Can we request poles without luminaires?
Identify pole-only supply in the enquiry and provide the proposed luminaire dimensions, loads and bracket interface. Ask the quotation to show included and excluded components clearly.
What should we send for a coastal site?
Provide the actual location and the project’s environmental and maintenance specification. Request confirmation of the proposed material, finish and electrical component suitability for the selected version.
Is there a Palmiye office or warehouse in Ghana?
This page is a project-sourcing guide with direct enquiries to our team in Türkiye. It does not represent a Ghana office or a local-stock offer. Delivery scope is confirmed for each order.
How do we start comparing models?
Use the English catalogue and send the model references, quantities and installation brief. The team can then review the requested configuration and available technical documents.
