Outdoor Lighting Poles for Projects in Romania
Plan a coordinated street-renewal or landscape scheme in Romania. Review replacement foundations, mounting details and equipment scope before shortlisting poles and luminaires.

01 / PRODUCT SELECTION
A Product Shortlist for Streets and Public Spaces
For architects, contractors and procurement teams planning projects in Romania, compare products across the whole streetscape. Architectural LED-body poles, road columns and park models can be shortlisted around the different functions of a renewal or new-build scheme.
DARG V1
Integrated LED Aluminium
Architectural columns with integrated body lighting for distinctive streetscapes and public spaces.
ROAD V2
Galvanised Steel Road Columns
Review road lighting poles against the required height, bracket arrangement and luminaire loading.
BARDI
Park & Garden Lighting
Explore column options for landscaped developments, pedestrian routes and outdoor amenity areas.
For lower-level paths or other public-realm requirements, also explore bollard lighting, square and urban lighting poles and wall and post-top luminaires.
02 / REAL APPLICATIONS

03 / STREET RENEWAL & PUBLIC REALM
Connect the Street, Square and Landscape
For a renewal project in Romania, begin with the relationship between the street and adjoining public spaces. A principal road, pedestrian square and park entrance may share a visual identity while requiring different mounting heights, light distributions and operating schedules.
Send a site plan showing the proposed columns, pedestrian crossings, planting and neighbouring buildings. For an existing streetscape, include photographs and the dimensions of any equipment to be replaced. Where visual continuity matters, identify the finishes and architectural details that the new lighting should complement.
Review Existing Infrastructure Before Replacement
Do not assume a new pole will fit an existing foundation. Provide the available foundation drawing, anchor-bolt arrangement and cable-entry information for review by the project engineer.
The engineer should assess the suitability of retained infrastructure against the proposed pole, luminaire and loads. Confirm the installation details before the final product configuration is approved.
04 / PARKS & PEDESTRIAN AREAS
Choose the Scale for the Space
For a park, promenade or residential landscape, shortlist columns with the intended mounting height and pedestrian setting in mind. Send the designer’s luminaire selection and layout so appearance can be considered alongside glare, neighbouring windows and the areas requiring illumination.
Specify the required colour temperature, finish and control arrangement. Describe local exposure conditions, including any coastal salt exposure or winter road splash relevant to the installation. Request confirmation of the proposed protection system for the selected material and configuration.
Define the Project Package
- Site drawings, application and installation photographs.
- Model references, heights, brackets and quantities.
- Luminaire data and the engineer’s loading criteria.
- Finish, environmental conditions and document list.
- Romanian delivery destination and project programme.
05 / PROJECT SUPPLY FROM TÜRKİYE
Clarify the Scope Before Quotation
Palmiye Lighting manufactures in İstanbul, Türkiye. Send the delivery town and postcode in Romania together with quantities, model versions and any phased delivery needs. Identify whether your enquiry concerns columns, brackets, luminaires or a combined package.
Ask the quotation to state what is included, the packing dimensions and weights, production programme, transport arrangements and agreed unloading responsibilities. Installation, foundation works and electrical connections should be identified separately in the project scope.
Prepare the Technical Submission
Share the tender’s specified column requirements, including any EN 40 criteria, drawings and supporting documents. Request model-specific information rather than assuming that one document applies to an entire collection.
This guide is written in English for enquiries relating to Romania. State any Romanian-language submission requirements so document availability and scope can be discussed before ordering.
ROMANIA / RENEWAL PACKAGE
Build Separate Schedules for Replacement and Extension
The public-lighting programme guide in the annex to Romania’s Order 2490 of 5 November 2024 distinguishes replacement, completion of existing lighting, extensions and remote management. Use that dated source to understand the different work packages; the buyer should check the rules and application conditions that apply to its own project. A catalogue selection does not establish funding eligibility.
| Work package | Design input for the enquiry | Boundary to agree before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Existing lighting replacement | Existing/proposed point schedule, luminaire data and retained supports. | Equipment supply versus dismantling, installation and electrical works. |
| New lighting points | New alignment, column heights, cable route and engineered foundations. | Columns, luminaires, anchors and civil works as separate scope items. |
| Remote management | Required control functions, existing platform and reporting outputs. | Device compatibility, configuration, commissioning and handover ownership. |
For a town-centre renewal with a new pedestrian connection, send two quantity schedules: equipment fitted to retained infrastructure and complete new lighting points. Use matching point identifiers on the plan and product schedule. Ask the project designer to identify the lighting calculations and acceptance information needed for each package. Keep architectural body illumination identifiable in both the electrical load and the quotation, so it is not mistaken for the functional road-lighting contribution. Supply the tender document list with the enquiry; document availability and equipment suitability must be confirmed for the proposed order.

06 / PROJECT QUESTIONS
Prepare for a Product Review
Can we coordinate road and park lighting in one enquiry?
Yes. Separate each application in the schedule and provide the relevant heights, luminaires and quantities. The collections offer a starting point for comparing forms across the scheme.
Can a new column reuse the existing foundation?
This requires assessment by the project engineer. Supply the existing details and the proposed equipment loads; compatibility must be confirmed for the actual installation.
